To be honest I've got better things to do than fanny about posing action photographs  like skiing  It's why I don't bother with video either. The camera I carry has a series of settings programmed in for metering and focus for landscape so it takes a second to take the camera out of my pocket and take a photo.

You are bang on there photo god, see the shot, take the shot, in my humble opinion they are the best shots, not sure I agree about the video bit though

more than anything of course, it's my taste, I like photographs of mountains. I take more of a range of shots trekking but still biased towards landscapes like these :

Ise,
I like mountains as well.

I always thought Psalm 121 meant that help does come from the hills, but the New English Bible version says not.

I prefer the King James version:
'I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills; from whence cometh help.' We have mountains here as well (very small ones) and I find it a great help looking at them as I drive into town.

Mountains seem to get a grip on one, which never really goes - I find the sea does the same for me as well. So I live between the mountains and the sea, which is just perfect for me, as Goldilocks would have said.

Thanks very much for your fantastic mountain photos - they are truly awesome, in the original meaning of the word i.e. they fill me with reverential wonder.

Great pics Ise, certainly Morocco makes beautiful interesting pics. Personaly I still love the mountain pics, especially yours you seem to capture so much more. I would say my second fascination is the Sea, just love pictures of sea especially when its a rough one.
