Probably not but if they used the word "SQUIRRELY" Id be at the shop now buying them
That's what two sheets of titenal will do to a ski. As the manufacturer describes it as primarily a carving ski, this is not a bad thing. It's a trade off, sacrificing the pop for edge hold.

Think it maybe best if i try some 1st. Seems silly to splash out the cash and then they dont feel right, waste of money really.

you should certainly try them first.
i have tested the ski you are talking about and i hated it-too stiff and boring with no life at all.
good for cruising blues and reds and prob good at high speed but rubbish for short turns and certainly dont think it would be good in the bumps

''With two sheets of titanium in the extended Titan Metal Laminates, vibration-reducing Marker Piston M1 12.0 binding system, and MOD dampening technology, the K2 Apache Crossfire Skis deliver accurate power transmission and precise control, cross-mountain. So go ahead: get caught in the Crossfire. ''
Come on!!! Would you buy a ski after reading that Sloblock????
