He came in the end, it was literally the day before when it was a definite! It had been on and off so many times, cost us another £50 each to book the lift passes on the transfer but never mind at least he made it in the end and we had an excellent time, I'd def recommend it to all.
Are you looking forward to VC? Did you manage to get someone for your extra places? Sorry we couldn't oblige would've love it. Is Tim revving himself up for all the black runs? I saw your pics on FB in the snow - FAB! :D
No my son decided to bring his GF but we have extras joining us too now...long story will fill you in another time!

Spent part of our honeymoon in Banff in April and absolutely loved it. We are thinking of going back for my 40th in January next year (first 2 weeks) but have heard it might be a bit too cold, and might affect the skiing (we are both beginner/intermediate). Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this would be a problem?
See you on the slopes

My first taste of real snow was in Banff about seven years ago. Always intended it to be a one only visit. Wife and I loved it so much we went back 4 times in the following 5 years. Absolutely love this place.
Always went around Christmas so not sure about January...though have heard it can get very cold (we have seen -20 and -30 on occasions in December so you would need to be prepared for some pretty cold conditions).
