Spoke to Edge2Edge, they offer Head Edge boots in large sizes. I would need to drive to Crawley and try them on. I'd also need to lug them with me to and from Andorra.

I've spoken to a shop in Soldeu called Pic Negre who say they also have my sizes in a Salomon hire boot.

I'm guessing the head boot will be better - but It means I have to drive down to crawley and lug the boots over to Soldue.

decisions.

Will the hire shop absolutely have the boot reserved for you? It would be a tad inconvenient to find that a bloke with the same size feet took the last pair an hour before you got there.

How comfortable would you like to be in ski boots? Will a pair which are mostly the right length do for you?

Does the thought of having black toenails for the next 6 months freak you out?

As you say, decisions, only you can make them!

Ski boots will fit into a suitcase, most owners manage to squeeze a pair in. They weigh about 5 kg.
