Hi Mark,
I recently sold two snowboards and both packages were approx 190cm with all the padding and boxes.
I got a good deal with these guys... http://www.interparcel.com/quote/
You put in where its going and the dimensions of all the packaging and it searches the cheapest couriers for you, it includes the likes of DHL, TNT, UPS etc.
A quick word of warning if you're selling on Ebay put a note on stating that the postage will be more to the Highlands and non mainland postcodes. It cost me under £15 to send inland UK but nearly £40 to send to Inverness. Wouldn't want you get caught out after they've sold.
Hope this helps you
Clare :-)

It cost me £40 for skis shipped from Nottingham to G84 (not quite highlands..) insured to £1100. It was £20 without the insurance.
If you are looking at DHL (who are often pretty cheap) look at Fast Lane International as they are agents for DHL and often work out a whole bunch cheaper.
