hi talking about boot fitting. after my introduction to skiing i went and having awkward feet needed a good fitter. i went to Fishers the hiking and ski shop in Keswick, Cumbria who have fitted me with a good pair of walking boots and also the ski boots i bought there. i would have no problem going back to get any more new boots ski or otherwise fitted.

I had my boots fitted in bristol S&R and haven't had any problems but i've only worn them for 2 hours on a dry slope though!

Many thanks to all of you for responding. Some food for thought and I appreciate hearing about your good and bad experiences. Going in three weeks so will need to decide soon!

if you haven't decided yet, you need to get a move on....a little time to wear boots around before you go skiing is the ideal so that you can have any glitches sorted before you hit the slopes
