To the dude who one starred my post.. it was probably the most informative thing I have ever written. I even posted you a webcam shot (which updates) so you can see how much snow there still is.

Arrr Ross, I have just 5 starred you (special golden ones) :D

To be fair, the recent snow is the first significant snowfall for a couple of weeks, and they needed it when we left on two weeks ago.

Definately not their worst year, but not above average so far.

Europe seems to be the place to head this season according to friends stories ("waist deep powder" , "I have never skied in powder before, it's quite good isn't it" etc...etc... :mrgreen: ).

I ski at sunpeaks (B.C) because of our season passes..anyway we are in need of snow.... have not had a decent snow fall for 3 weeks...just a few cm here and there.... Have heard alberta has not been getting the snow either. Think next week there is snow forecasted,which is much needed for BC and Alberta. :wink:

ya!!! snow is falling tonight!!! going skiing on sunday! :thumbup:
I bet Alberta's rockies are getting it too !

The Albertan Rockies are getting sustained 100km/h winds :wink:

It has been crazy windy today! Hope it is gone by the morning ).
Was really warm also,now its about -5.
