That hat is legendary. I love it. Unfortunately, it stretched, being made of beautiful soft wool, and I ended up borrowing my wifes peaked beanie, which actually looked pretty smart too.
You wont be surprised to hear that both hats were from TK Maxx.
I was wondering why visibility was so bad.
Harsh words my friend, he looks worse with the hat off :mrgreen:

Beanie hats tend to slip off on me, not because of head size but if my hair is newly washed its shiny and hat slips. I wear the peruvian type hats now, tie under chin with tassels, fashionable now I believe.

Looks like a head cover for a golf club !!
For Christmas I got a new hat lined with rabbit fur with ear flaps.
Then I was told by an experienced skiier not to bother as it will be far too hot ... but it's still going to Austria with me. (or the OH will be gutted !! )

A nice simple knitted beanie that you can fit over your ears is all you should need.

I brought a ushanka a couple of years ago, Mrs W refused to ski with me until I removed the russian rascal.
