New Car Hire arranagements at Geneva Airport

I used this a couple of weeks ago. It adds about 20 mins each way compared with the previous location. If you have luggage it is a real hassle loading and unloading several times to get to the car.Note on the way back the route is all the way around the airport so could be traffic problems depending on time of day.There is supposed to a walkway from the main terminal but it is not well signed or mentioned at car hire check in. Guess why? I have just got a bill for the "courtesy" bus! Only £5 but what a cheek and the drivers are not helpful.

I used the Geneva car hire last week - how on earth have they billed you for the bus? Through the post - how did they get your details?

My main concern was how to find the place on the way back to the airport but it's actually pretty straightforward and well sign-posted from when you arrive at the airport.

Definitely allow extra time though - as stated it is a treck and, maybe it's just Budget, but it's the first time I haven't been able to dump the car and run. I had to dig out the contract before they would take the keys and inspect the car which was after being ignored for a few minutes.

Also expect a bit of a scrum on a Saturday to get on the bus to the airport. I'd suggest you need to be there at least 40 minutes before you need to check in for your flight.
