I have to disagree on that one Tony...the view from the staff room window (at my last school) was straight into the changing room window of the local fire station! Admittedly there was no snow, but believe me that window clocked up more hours than Vangogh's Sunflowers in the National Gallery!

Diet Coke break?...........although fireman dont do it for me, having been married to two fireman, although not at the same time.

Well, they would if your home was on fire :D

Anyway, would the phrase "Double Standards" make more sense?

If a woman looks at a group of men undressing it's somehow an unhealthy or unnatural pursuit.
If a man indulges in a little voyeurism it's considered natural.

That's western society for you

This post makes perfect sense. However, branding me a hypocrite without even knowing I behave like you describe does not.

I recently turned down a job in Munich with an office overlooking the shiny vats of the Löwenbrau, now I would have leered over them )

Do you still feel that it's appropriate to call snowb4ndit a pervert.

You still have absolutely no idea how I would behave.

I thought it was a light hearted post that would make people laugh not get cross, the humour relies on knowledge of stereotypes, we all know that some women do not find firemen attractive, we also know that not all fireman are attractive to all women or men.

Having a 'thing'about firemen, does not make someone a pervert. Having the opportunity to see firemen from your window on a regular basis is also not perverted. Watching in secret maybe catagorised as voyeurism but it was no secret...the firemen and the teachers all thought it was very funny...we used to wave at each other sometimes and even exchange friendly gestures.

I do appologise to anyone who's been offended by my post and will endeavour to only make jokes that everyone will understand in future.

Does anyone think that the world will eventually be so PC correct that we wont be aloud to laugh at anything anymore?

(Sorry...off topic, but I needed to have my say)  )
