Advise please!

Don't do the Skiing thing!

Even the best skiers look like nerds, boarding is cool, even falling over looks good on a board, and you won't end up with your feet pointing in opposite directions :shock:

Its ok worrying about which board to get but id make sure you have some good wrist protectors if your starting out.
Ive had too many mates ruin a weeks boarding by breaking a wrist on the first few days.

I brought from ski warehouse, I would recommend them.

Don't know if you have been boarding yet, but if not i can more than second jimbo's suggestion about puchasing a pair of impact shorts, THEY ARE A GODSEND, i swear by mine, the first time i boarded, literally the top half of my legs were a dark purple/black couloured bruise from the effect of going down on my Arse so much. Now I am more competant, although I still wear them (and padding for the knees).so...be safe, be comfortable and be like a michelin man.
(You know what I'm talkin about don't you Tony H ? more your era eh ?)
