Bellfi, that's a result, £140 pp.

Who cares if it isn't entirely suitable. You are going to get good value. This would qualify on another thread that aimed to get the holiday cost below the price of a lift pass, you have certainly done that!

In Chamonix it doesn't have to be hassle with children. Choose the ski areas close to the town most days (Brevent and Flegere) and the areas further away (Le Tour and Grand Montets) on other days, ideally when the weather is more favourable in case you have to queue for the bus back at the end of the day.

bellfi wrote:The reason for the very different choices was down to the offers, took the deal to chamonix £563 for family of 4 - can not believe the price (no flight supplement from Glasgow or under occupancy supplement) with crystal, checked it out today is now £1450, have never been to france skiing do not fancy it, but at that price had to give it a go - Usually go to Italy or Switzerland.

Mate, that is as good a deal as I have come across. Chamonix is certainly a ski Mecca for many, I havent been so cant comment, but the fact so many base themselves there, and checkout snowfix.tv from Cham....says it all really.
I really cant believe thats the price you paid for a family of 4. You simply cannot fail to go wrong. Have a great time, and lets see lots of pictures when you get back!
