But I just dont think it has any appeal to someone like me who likes to get up and down slopes and ski from first to last lift.

But if you are like me, a relative beginner, who ski's, boards and xcross country skier its the ideal place for me. Plus because I want to do all the extra snow safari's, the last lifts every day are 9.30pm I can extend the hours spent on the slopes. Plus it was the only place I could find with log cabins for just the two of us, no sharing.
It might prove to be not what I expected but could prove to be my paradise.

Plus I am a big kid at heart and just love to play in the snow.

Unless you are an absolute expert Yllas/Levi these 2 resorts will be challenging for most skiers.

Whilst quite obviously it gets very cold, because of very little wind -10 can actually be very pleasant.

The last 2 seasons the wife/I have been to each resort, would recommend either to anyone.

Tip! If i recall we booked about a month before for each resort.
Inghams each year seem to have really good offers to the AKAS think we payed £350 HB, this year we stayed at the Crazy R for the same price booking with FC.

Trips I think there was very little in it Rep/Yourself.

Should you require anymore info then send me a PM.

In addition,

Whilst nothing in this life is FREE, you actually get to ski for 7 days your 6 day lift pass includes 1 free day. This is due to most of the flights not leaving Kittala till around 1900hrs and of course its only a 45 or 15 mins trans depending on which resort.

Plus most places in Finland/Lapland has its own personal sauna. Yippee, sauna as nature intended and not having to look at others anatomy

I must admit Tony_H it is a little puzzling :? I'm not a beginner, or a young kid & I certainly don't like to sit around all day. I too like to get up & down slopes (obviously) & ski from the first lift to the last - yet something about what I've read & heard from others appeals to me. If anyone out there has been to Finland to ski & found it to be pants, please let me know. If this is the case, then I'll probably ( & happily) go back to France, although I know some people don't like it there either

Go for Finland Salski, I am sure it will be amazing. A different experience than from Austria or France but brilliant all the same
