I come from Southampton and can only remember snow twice.

This was winter 82/83. I was riding into the Bargate daily on a Yamaha Trail bike, which proved very useful for getting round all the parked cars on the Itchen Bridge :D
It did not however, fit between 2 stationary Soton City buses :lol:

Was in Niederau week before last. Snowed in Kitsbuhleralps above 2000m.

Might have a day out to Hintertux next week.

Not to ski, just to check out the sights.
