Do squats, interval training on cv equipment(bike, rower, treadmill) to simulate the cardio demands of the stop start nature of holiday piste skiing.

I've been in Snowmass for the past week and I've been skiing my butt of and I must say my ass, thighs and legs have never been so strong

I found a really good exercise for skiing is skipping.

It is cheap and involve exactly the right muscle set.

When you think about it, skipping with a short rope so you have to keep your knees bent and with ski boots on - that would be evil :twisted:

Excellent! I'm so glad you've volunteered to video yourself doing that exercise for us... perhaps while simultaneously performing the famed "office chair" trick previously discussed on this forum... go on, you know you want to... :lol:
