Perhaps they are migrant. Travelling from resort to resort just to test their lemming tendencies …
As for the code, you are interestingly close by noting that the first 3 and last 3 letters are the same. That could be a route worth pursuing …
You are correct that:
It is in English
It is constructed by taking the first letter from each word in a sentence
It has to do with skiing (and life in general)
It is very much related to my message
It is logical
Happy sleepless nights,

The observation from Jan about the first turn is crucial to becoming an effective skier!
At the top of the run it is not too crucial for "other" skier since you are just starting the run.
Now imagine you are on an expert run cruising along, here comes a turn,,then a drop,,a real drop!
What do you have?
5-10 skiers stopped and lined up ACROSS ski run looking at where to go! A conference is called and if you have couples, the husband is telling the wife where to go! She just wants to take skis off and walk!
By this time you have 1 meter between group and woods or cliff!
What is more important, I tell all skiers is not the steep section. It is the run off! That zone below the steep section!
The run off is your parachute! It is the safety valve which allows you to ride out the speed!
So if you have the courage( or stupidity) or technique to take steep section straight down it is the run off section that will save you!
Stop looking at the steep section! Look at the zone below it!
Trust your skis (if they are well tuned), trust yourself and take the fall line!
Stop being the bird on the line!
Soar instead!
Now back to those letters!
7 letters but really 4 since some a repeated!
Find
That
Position
In
Place
Then
Finish....

Here is what they say!
First
Take
Position
Initiate
Position
Then
Flow-line
That is the EGO's choice
The super-ego's part of the unconscious is much more religion/moral oriented. He feels the answer is;
Faith (in self)
Trust ( in skiing skills)
Patience (of first turn)
Intuition (about course)
Power (to execute turn)
Technique (to follow up power)
Flow (line)
Now if you know anything about the ID within the unconscious it is basic animal instincts! Me me me all the time! Want want want all the time! Pure pleasure at all times! Its choices are;
Fast (gives pleasure all the way)
Turns (are sensational)
Passions (on and off ski hills)
Instincts (are what I am all about)
Pleasure (is what I seek 24 hours a day)
Therapy (which I need sometimes)
Fun (is what skiing and life is all about)
I think if I thought like this while skiing I would hit a tree!

I will yield to pressure.
The letters are the initials of a contraction of a famous Benjamin Franklin quote.
It is also a commonly used coaching / performance mantra.
Now go figure :-)
Happy cryptography,

The phrase I actually had in mind was:
Failing
To
Prepare
Is
Preparing
To
Fail
But yours kinda works to eh?
But who's gonna quibble ...
Actually Pavel probably as he tried SO hard but then also kinda failed, Oh well, there's always next time ;)
Happy phrasing :)
