Turin to Sauze transfers

This has nothing to do with EU regulation. Passenger transport cabotage (the transport of passengers between 2 places in the same country by a transport operator from another country for the purposes of hire and reward) is illegal in many European countries.
If you are transported from an airport to a ski resort in the same county in a foreign registered transfer company vehicle your journey is illegal. If the vehicle is stopped by the police the driver will be fined and you will not be allowed to continue your journey and will have to make alternative arrangements.
Over the last few weeks, the police here in Canton Valais stopped 4 foreign registered vehicles that were carrying out illegal transfers between Geneva airport and Verbier https://www.policevalais.ch/communiques-pour-les-medias/val-de-bagnes-lutte-contre-le-cabotage-quatre-conducteurs-interpelles/
The Sauze d'Oulx tourist office lists 7 local transfer operators https://sauzedoulx.net/travel-information/ Sauze Taxi, Milky Way Taxi, Central Taxi and Zambello Taxi have websites so you can book directly with them and cut out the middle men. The tourist office website also has detailed info on how to get to Sauze using public transport https://sauzedoulx.net/travel-information/public-transport-to-sauze-doulx/

Snowcab are great, used before many times but don't do Sunday transfers. I'm going to Sestriere in Feb, spoke to Snowcabs they suggested seeing if I can hop on a transfer coach as all main tour operators are at Turin on Sundays!! I've opted to use Sauze Online (360 euros return) ..

I booked a transfer via Sauze online at beginning of February. It was Magno taxi that picked me up and did the return. Great service. €360 return to Sestriere.
I have used Snocabs in the past but spoke to Dean and he said he doesn't do Sunday transfers from Turin due to high volume of tour operators at the airport .

Ok, so it's too late to be of any use this season, but it may be worth a quick post for anyone that may have looked at the thread for possible trips next year.
We have just come back from Sauze D and were very pleased with the Torino - Sauze transfers provided by Andrea of Milky Way Taxis, Sauze D'Oulx. (+39 3394 711 384)
Very comfortable minibus and by far the most reasonable cost of any other providers we tried. Recommended.
