Thanks for all your input,it was only going to be 1 lesson to get us back into it and knock out any bad habits we picked up from last year
The other 3 aren't fussed about having a lesson,so if its 90/110 Euros between us, they just come along but 170 euros, ill be doing it on my own.And theres only a few euros difference on the individual price
Sestriere = 80 euros
Sauze= 72 Euros or 9am offer 60 euros

I'm also puzzled why the lessons are more expensive in Sestriere..I've emailed the company offering the lessons and awaiting a reply

thanks nick

Everything in sestriere seems more expensive than sauze restaurant meals and drink as well in my experience maybe they are still paying for the Olympics there ! Or just the fact that it attracts people as it was Olympic city! You would never get from sestriere to sauze for 9am lessons not only that take into consideration that sometimes the bubble link from sestriere to sauze is closed if its a windy day !

It is generally quieter in the Sauze area than Sestriere although that is influenced by how much snow is left so later in the season skiers get squeezed into the higher places which can make many areas seem busy.

Personally I'd opt to stay in Sauze but if you are staying in Sestriere you are probably better off taking your lessons there - particularly if you have to start early in the morning or if the weather is bad which may make getting across take longer.
