We stayed at the Gran Bosco: nice and friendly, good food, cheap bar, etc. Only criticism would be location; about 1km from the action. Free bus to Clotes lift every morning. Free bus into town after dinner. Even a free bus back to the hotel but the last one was at midnight (or was it 1am?) -) On a couple of nights, when the craic was especially mighty, we said 'Stuff the free bus', and walked back. No big deal: wouldn't fancy it in ski-boots though :) .

Often seen deals for Hotel Relais des Alpes (4*, central location) for handy money. Hope this helps.

Result

We are looking at Hotel Relais des Alpes :)

Hi I've stayed in sauze 3 times and just come back from there! There is no better place to base yourself in sauze village and then ski further afield if you want to over to sestriere and San sicario 2 occasions I went in march and snow was still fine and yes both times weather was quite warm however plenty of snow and good skiing higher up just gets a bit soft lower levels! We have stayed in Stella alpina bottom of the village run just by magic carpet - owner is Caroline who is English and her family run the ski shop next door, would highly recommend this place also if you rent skis from her shop you can store all your stuff in the boot room overnight which means you can then walk in your normal boots back to any hotel! Also stayed in hotel debili just opposite paddys bar which is great booked through veneer.com and lastly just stayed at hotel Florida prata, this hotel just opposite cotton club in village, it's quite basic but if you are looking cheap then I would try its warm and comfy and breakfast adequate we paid £200 for 4 nights stay bed and breakfast it's a no brainer but if its luxury you want look at other hotels! Regarding transfers from Turin if I was you I'd hire a car and drive as its much cheaper we paid £90 for 2 people sharing a car for 5 days sixt car co and its an hours drive with no heavy traffic, in all we skied 5 days out of our 4 nights also try Mira bar for après ski, free bar food is fantastic ! If you need anymore info just ask I love sauze it's a fab place with so much atmosphere !

No you wouldn't have to get a bus back to the village at all I just meant if you don't like the risk of a little soft snow but as I said I've been upto 15th march and is fine !
Don't let this put you off !
