never thought about taking anything, but t-bags is a sound idea. kids always have crisps, sweets and pop in bags so they are sorted. will pop to supermarket for essentials when i get there, hope not too expensive.

Mugs unless you like to drink tea from espresso cups, currys from well known supermarkets for apres, apres, ski dishwasher tabs otherwise you end up buying a box full, the list is endless if you are driving,

We fly late afternoon next Saturday do don't get into Flaine until 9pm...
We have too teenage girls who won't want to go out so we buy an M&S lasagne ( other brands are available) freeze it the day before and put it in the suitcase... pack a bottle of red and we are sorted for the first night...

Agree with the dishwasher tablets as well......

I assume you are driving .
Plan some of your main meals ahead and take just enough of herbs and spices for that meal...if you are a porrdige/muesli eater like me(best slow release carb for a morning's skiig)take that. Tea bags if you are a tea drinker.Baked beans cost a fortune in resort,as will your favoured sauces, and marmite.Prepared ,frozen meal for first day.If you are a curry person, jars of paste/powder
If I am flying then it's tea bags and marmite for me.

Oh, I so agree, preferably XO. Those Marmots are just not the same on toast, and the French claim to have such great cuisine.

don't be silly: go out for a pizza on Night One; get a croissant & a chocolat chaud for breakfast. If you can't survive without HP sauce then stay in the UK!

my comments were aimed at a family with kids, probably on a budjet otherwise they wouldn't be self catering.
