Not for me, Andy, I never wear goggles.
I passed on the OP list to my smarty pants young son, who writes apps for a hobby. I have suggested writing about what he knows, but he has a good line in app quizzes.

It's pretty cool. All the stats, speed, distance, no. runs, no. lifts, elevation. Plus it shows a neat map of the runs you've done, which if like me and have no clue what runs are called or where they go, is very useful explaining where you've been to others ;)

GPS only and local data saving = no running cost.
Run by run breakdown in the 69p version - well worth it.
With data off I've had over 50% battery left at the end of the day (on an iphone!)
Not skiing specific but Photosynth is free and good for capturing the views!
Alpine replay looks like it could be good, might investigate.
