This new generation of cyclists produce 20% less power than the last a few years ago...
They are no longer super human, or perhaps that's incorrect they now are super human because they're doing it without needles and pills. Well most of them are... Pity the Spainish authorities are so far behind the game.

I love cycling and am a mountain biker and road cyclist but....
The guy who wins is the guy with the best doctor/scientist/pharmacist.
Saying that I love watching the tour when there is a mountain stage where I have skiied and having driven up to Alpe d'Huez a few times I can only imagine what it is like to cycle up it. Twice!

When in doubt?....Flat out.

........... I was exhausted from the bus journey up the hill to ADH
Cannot imagine how difficult it would be to cycle up it once never mind twice
Those guys are extraordinary athletes (or at least those that are clean are  )

Looking forward to it. The Alpe will be absolutely rammed, and the Dutch fans will be even more hammered than they usually are on Dutch corner.
So to fly to Geneva for the Annecy & LGB stages, head to Paris for the finale, or end up staying at home and watching on the box?
Climbing the Alpe twice in rapid succession will blow the field to pieces.
Be great to have Froome in yellow and Cav in green in Paris, and hopefully Steak Boy and Valverde will have fallen over large cliffs by then (or been banned again!)
One day the 3 weeks will be booked off, the camper van hired, the bike attached to the back, and away we go round France.........
