You should check out Kicking Horse or Revelstoke. Perfect for a quiet peaceful week of skiing. Loads of high quality ski in and out condos (many with hot-tubs). restaurants are a bit thin on the ground on the hills, but there are lots of good places in and around the towns if you have a car.

Kicking Horse has probably one of the best lunchtime views in any ski resort - http://www.kickinghorseresort.com/resort/dining/eagles-eye.aspx

Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops, British Columbia will meet the OPs needs. Rated by Ski Canada Magazine as the best skiing weather in Canada and award winning grooming and run layout, long wide runs, compact ski through village and tons of ski in/out accommodation.

Previous recommendations: Banff can be very cold, Revelstoke and Kicking Horse are best for advancing intermediates and mostly black diamond skiers, Big White aka Big Whiteout for those who prefer skiing a lot in fog, but good party mountain.
