I did a couple of seasonsin Mayrhofen, Austria, a friend of mine turned up and got a job behind the bar at the Strass hotel, she got accommodation thrown in as well. Might be worth a go?
Obviously the earlier you get there the better pickings of jobs you'll have.

I think UK companies are best.
This may factor you towards a nation.Seasonal perform in ski hotels is very aggressive and most younger Britons going out will have categorized out perform already.

And to get back to the thread, I think Austria/Switzerland would be pretty tricky places to get work and accomodation. I've tried!!!
