Iceman - I hope you wear them the right way around. There was a man in the ski hire shop in Meribel with his left foot in the one saying 'right', and his right foot in the one saying 'left'. He looked a right plonker.

Oh dear! I do wear them the right way round :)

Proves if I am alert enough in the morning to ski. If I cant get the socks on the correct feet how on earth can i function on the slippy white stuff :shock:

I have terrible circulation in my feet so after a few seasons trial and error, I go for a very thin pair of silk sock liners and a thin merino wool pair.
I wouldn't say that keeps my feet 'toasty' warm but at least these days I don't have to stand in the ladies holding one foot at a time under the hand dryer to get some feeling back into them :D
