You're right, the post bus is s payable service, and I'd happily pay to use it to avoid that kind of nonsense!
I am planning to ski 3 days in Lech this season and 3 days in St Anton as we never went round to Lech last time.

For all it's worth, here is a link to the Vorarlberg Transport System, if you only use it to roam around Lech and St Anton area get the 1 week one zone(7) ticket for 7,30 € the weekly all ten zones ticket is 26,10 €.

I skied the Sonnenkopf 2 weeks ago, it was awesome and just perfect after a 1 year ski pause.

Andyhull says: Most operators arrange a day trip to Sonnenkopf, well worth it if the conditions are good
Whatever resort you're in, if your operator arranges a trip to a nearby resort, find out what it would cost to do it yourself by taxi. When I've looked into it I've found it half the price and you can go what day you want, what time you want and return when you want~ be it three 'o'clock or nine 'o'clock. T
These trips and other extras tend to be a rip off ~ especially if it's something you can do yourself independantly ~ unless you like being treated like a school kid.
Just needed to get that off my chest.

Why taxi ? To get to Sonnenkopf all you need is a 1 day one zone - domino - ticket for 2,20 €; train from St Anton to Langen then by bus to Klosterle and walk 5 minutes to the Sonnenkopf bottom station.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear. I wasn't talking about the Lech ~ St Anton area, I've never been there. When I said whatever resort I actuallyment in Europe or perhaps even the world!
I was just responding to a comment about opperators and their coach trips, which are money for nothing and equate to being mugged, in my view.
BTW I would love to go to St Anton and Lech.

Don't worry other people read on here and the info may suit them.
You don't need to go to expensive St Anton, the Montafon Valley is quite nice and has excellent skiing, the train goes right into the centre of Schruns. The après scene is very low key .
