Stephen, we offer you a week in our catered chalet in La Rosiere 1850 in either late Jan or early Feb. Jan prices are £360 per person and feb prices are £420 per person. We also offer J2Skiers a 5% discount. We can arrange ski hire, ski lessons and ski schools for you, we have a free transfer to/from Geneva on Sunadys so you miss the Saturday scrum but still have a good choice of low cost flights. La Rosiere is a great resort for beginners, you can find full details of our holidays on www.tracksvacations.com where you can see what our previous guests have said about us.

Regards

My hubby and I went skiing for the first time the second week of Jan '06 to Niederau in Austria. It was really quiet this time of year. We booked a package through Inghams as we have done this year and I'm glad we did because it was our first time. The reps were really helpful and transfers etc. went smoothly. DirectSki seem to have good deals - as I discovered after booking our trip for 2007, I could have gotten it £300 cheaper with them! Other good things to consider is how close you accommodation is to the nursery/beginners slopes, ski school/ski & boot storage etc. so that you don't have to go far whilst trying to master the art of carrying skis and poles and walking in ski boots at the same time :) Be warned - you will be hooked! We came home this year on the Saturday and booked the same resort and hotel for next year. That's another good point - if you arrive on a Saturday, get your skis, poles and boots then if you can. We did this and it meant not queuing for about two hours on the Sunday before our first lesson. Enjoy :D
