The politically incorrect truth is that men like the challenging skiing offered by the steep slopes and off-piste of St.Anton, whereas the *majority* of girls have a more Bridget Jones attitude to their skiing.

Once again Johnny, you have hit the nail on the head.

So, this Bridget Jones thing - are we talking about skiing into a St. Anton pharmacy demanding a pregnancy testing kit?

In St.Anton she would be lucky to get to the pharmacy door without being propositioned by 10,000 sex starved men. Better chance of getting laid in Wandsworth prison.

Where do you reccomend in France for March and how does the skiing and social scene compare to Austria as we have only been to Austria and have enjoyed every trip there. :?::?:  :P

Social - nothing like Austria. Ok Meribel and Val have some lively bars, but France in the main is dull compared to the jolly Austrian scene.
As for the skiing? Its very subjective. I've skied a few resorts in both countries and loved them all, so I think its a case of being careful to pick the right kind of resort for you rather than trying to compare countries, as they all have so many differences.

Neustift with the Stubai Glacier has been good in March and also Kirchdorf, and you have access to a whole ski area which is very reasonable, including Waidring high up - worth a look!
Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!
