Didn't they end up stock piling loads of snow on the glacier then grooming it down with the cat's?? I remember it being classed as a bad patch for them in terms of snow fall. However whistler village is well known for being slushy.

Forecasts are only really accurate for the coming 2-3 days. Thats why we see the flakes on the snow emails but then they dont come :(

Two years ago was in Whistler the week before the Olympics, resort level slush even in the morning, up top thick fog very little snow and temps never dropping below 5c huge huge dissapointment,
It can happen, last year record snow fall !
