It is a long drive for one driver.
Indeed it is. When we go to the Alps or the South of France we always take turns. Drive for 2-3 hours, have a break, switch places etc ...
But as always, plan ahead !

I've driven this myself and if you get an early crossing at around 6am you'll be on the road at 7 the other side, and be in resort by 5pm no problem. We drove to Serre Che which is another hour across the Col at least, and we were in resort at 6pm.Roger Mayne wrote:Hi,
