Thanks all - I'll certainly give it a good look for next year
As I said - difficulty isn't so much a problem (it could be a black run home for all I care) just don't want dangerously crowded pistes around Mrs O.
As a side question is the accomodation mainly ski in/out ? I hate walking any distance in boots/carrying skis
Thanks again
Andy

The main ski-hire shops, in both the main village and in Nassarein are right beside the lifts and offer ski depots where you can leave your skis/boots (for a fee - usually discounted or even free if you are renting from them). Its the next best thing to SISO (ski-in/ski-out)if your accommodation is a bit of hike/bus ride away.

Most of it requires a short walk.

Theres a decent bus service round town, and we often took a taxi for 8 of us for 7 euros up to our chalet which saved a 10 minute walk.
Nothing is far away in St Anton.
Andy, you have to try St Anton, its a fab place.
