Colorado in: 2nd half March or April? Breckenridge, Vail or Aspen?

Mostly my intentions are focused on Brekenridge and March but I´ve been told that March could be snowy. which is great as far as it won´t impede skiing.
I like cold but sunny days at least for 5 out of 7 days.
Anyway as far I could ski without blizzards and seeing where the hell I´m heading to would be fine.
I want to avoid as possible half term holidays as, although the americans have different ones than ours, to avoid high prices when booking here.
The Vail ski resorts area, Summit county, seems to tick all the boxes.
Brekenridge seems less posh then Vail but Vail´s got bigger skiing area.
May somebody share the experieces with regards to the links to other resorts from Brekenridge(Arapahoe,Keystone,Vail,..) using the same skipass??
Would be better and moneywise staying 10 days rather than 1 week?
Are the public or private transfers between resorts worthwhile or might be better to rent a car?
And now the last querie.Although there are many feedback and customer review sites, could anyone tell me the opinion about where to lodge in any of those places?
Thanks for the advice. I´m eager to experience the "champagne snow" especially after the fabulous ski holiday I enjoyed last March in South Lake Tahoe.

I liked all of the areas, they all had a different character. Vail varies from lovely runs through glades, to steep runs down the bowls, choose you own line. BC and K/stone, lots of corderoy, Arapahoe, is my favourite US location, (so far), the Palavacini is quite a run.
For accomodation, we booked a condo on the net.
We were there in March, and it was Euro type weather.
We rented a minibus, but now I see there are ski buses covered by the pass, and a $20 ride to Vail. We did use the hire car to travel to Dillon in the evening for ski, and non-ski shopping. Hire car is a cost/flexibility decision.
You need to go for more than a week, there is a jet lag factor, and there is a huge amount of skiing to do.

Check out http://www.tripinspiration.com/trip/comments/naturist-skiing/2008-01-13/
"Aspen is home to four separate ski areas, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass, all of which are linked by a free shuttle service.
For the Naturist skiers when you arrive book to go on one of the organised guided ski-tours."

Thanks for the comments.I rather try the net but my companion lady sems a bit weary about that; so we´ll try ski holiday package. I think after a lot of searching that CRYSTAL got good offers.
Anyone knows a good value for money INSURANCE for America??
