I haven't booked anywhere yet but Livigno is definitely at the top of my list, actually it's the only one on my list at the moment...and those fabulous winter photos have now made me even more keen to be there at New Year. Now all I have to do is persuade several others that it'll be worth the long transfer time.

Take Life With A Pinch Of Salt... A Wedge Of Lime, & A Shot Of Tequila :-)

I have some very fond memories of the place, even met some some nice Brits......It was so long ago and I'm struggling to find some photos

I'm planning one more year in LGb for Little W to get her third star and then 2011 I have to persuade my brother in law that he needs to ski Livigno :D

Only for a days ski from Bormio though. Looked good. 8)

Posting those sort of photos...you really must put a visit to the Anniviers on your To Do list :D

As I have said before Livigno is not everybody's cup of tea but it holds fond memories for Mrs W and Myself and the skiing fine for all but the very expert, I say fond memories, one of them was a real silly story......
the first visit to Livigno we spent a fortnight there and was holed up in this basement studio with no view, every time we entered or exited the studio this bloody great Alsatian showed me his teeth growling and being a real pain after three or four days of this I don't know what made me do it I picked up a hand full of snow and made it into a very tight snowball ready to if he came too close give it to him straight in the kisser, but he suddenly changed and was showing more of a friendly interest in us both as we slipped passed him without any fuss, on my way into the accommodation I chucked the snow ball down the road. Well that was it he was off like a greyhound chasing after the snow ball, he came bouncing back up for a game, from then on the stupid dog waited for us every morning and afternoon for a half hour of chase the snow ball he ended up the most friendly dog I have ever met from one day wanting to rip me apart to the next sitting next to us outside a near by bar while we had a coffee, I really got attached to the soppy old thing and yet he would not let another dog any where near us, if they came too close he would chase them away, I did tell you it was a stupid story...... But totally true
