Thanks for the advice, but I'm not sure I can go more than 12 months without my fix. Odd really cos I'd rarely go back to the same place twice for any other type of holiday. And stop trying to get me into trouble on the non-N thread Mr W. I know what you're up to! :hunf:
I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

I dont think anyones trying to get anyone to do anything, Emma.
I dont mention Mayrhofen a lot, but I do get asked about it a lot.
If you've been to places, you're in a better position to recommend them to people.
I've been to Serre Che 3 times in the past 18 months but you didn't mention that. Any reason why?

We are experimenting this year in Austria. Booked a chalet near Zams. Planning to go skiing there, Serfaus and Pitztal. Usually I'm a conservative person, don't like changes, especially when I have small children with me. My 5yo just started skiing on a dry slope and taking her to Pitztal... At least the place where we are staying is small and quiet, as i like it :) Hopefully everything will be alright!

Chill out. I don't recall you metioning Serre Che and I do remember you mentioning Mayrhofen. Maybe I didn't read the other posts. Maybe it's because I just don't keep a mental list of people's past holidays. I very rarely look at people's profiles. I hardly ever remember my own age. Any or all of these reasons could be why I didn't mention Serre Che.

Someone mentions a resort a couple of times, and you have them down as a seasonaire  )

Ok, I've been there a few times, its a good place for sure, but I don't rate the skiing as good as St Anton, Verbier, Serre Che or St Moritz having been to all of them since my last trip to The Hof.

If you visit a few places, I think it puts you in a better position to be able to offer a comparison, that's all.

I am going to be in the Salzburg area the week of the 20th. Is anyone interested in sharing a chair lift ride?

Hahaha! Very funny :)

I must admit Tony H, I honestly had you pinned as some kind of marketing guy for the Mayrhofen tourist board!
