It is just unbelievable March snow. As good as I can remember. It will be interesting to look at the season-end statistics, c/w previous seasons. Now seing regular local piste skiers checking out the off piste.
Half of the Austrian ladies ski team were here last weekend, race training. Have an interesting story about that, definitely not for publishing.
So, let's hear it for Amanda.
thankyou dave i am still buzzing hee hee, hang on isnt that what a ski holiday is for ski-ing lol, up and out at 9 and back at 4, havent wasted time working to sit on bum in hotel x the best bit was the deep powder i will laugh on that for years to come....
anyone who has been to the n from top of gondola ski down to right to cafe with t bar, go up the t bar where you normally go to the right, the instructor took us left, explained about keeping skis together bouncing the knees to turn in powder, i took one look , thought hum isnt so steep so just went straight down, omg it was fab huge snow coming up off skis and the most pefect straight line down the side was fab, i laughed all day brill. instructor could be heard screajing ,turn, now known as kamikaze amanda

Well done on the gold amanda!!! The instructor calling you kamikazee wasnt andreas by any chance was it? That was one of his favourite comments to me when I was there!!! Sounds like you've had a total blast...hope the post-skiing blues arent too bad when you get back!!! )
nope i have 22 days to go till the next one in france, my instructor was rainer, very good, learned loads and practiced hard,n must admit i was very naughty on the last day and i had the last hour off, my legs were done in and thought better safe than sorry and end on a high.
