Hmmmm, when I learned to ski :mrgreen: straight skis with very little sidecut carved quite nicely on hard snow.

Perhaps those of us skiing in Europe, learn to carve turns without relying on the turn radius?

I know what I'm good at and what I am not. It obviousely touches a nerve with people who claim to be able to carve but display little understanding of what this aspect of the sport has developed into or the current techniques used.

Well ive found out abit more about what ski i should be buying.
But if theres one thing i can take away from all this, it is great confusion! :D :shock:
