Didn't ski today but the word in the village is that it was warm but snow was hard. Torvill and Dean were mentioned!
There is hope for snow tomorrow night.
I'll be up the hill tomorrow and will give you an update thereafter.

Hi Brucie and Rjones, I will arrive in Grandvalira on the thursday and my first day skiing is on Friday. I am checking the conditions every day since January. I saw that the warm data without snowing from the 18th of January, made hard snow and icy conditions on the slopes. I almost booked a flight from Barcelona to Áustria where the snow has been fallen since last week but I saw that that there ia anos coming on wendnesday, fryday, satursay and Sunday. It is light snow but I believe that it will improve a lot the conditions.
Bruce, is the terrain very plan or is it possible to find nice inclined runs?

Another mild day in Grandvalira, but the snow was soft and reasonably good considering. A few bare patches appearing,the steeper pitches suffering the worst, and new snow is needed!

Hi, I am going on my first skiing holiday to Andorra, Soldeu on Feb 21 2016. I have been checking the forecasts and its not looking good! I know it is early still with just under 3 weeks to go. How is the snow looking, is it still going to enough to ski in most places of the mountain and be real enjoyable? Or could it still have a huge snow fall?

Hi Brucie. Were they able to make some snow last night and today at Grandvalira? Temperatures dropped considerably and humidity is quite low.
