When I click on the button to read the latest posts, it only brings up new topics posted, not new replies to existing topics. Is that correct? If so, I don't like it. I can never remember which topic discussions I have previously visited so I like to just pick up on the latest replies posted.

Exactly what I was about to say.
Key indicates unread posts should be green, but they aren't.
Only 'hot topics' are colour coded in orange.

I like the fact that the little red dot is still floating about when you go to a "snow report" page ...have a look ..slightly left/bottom of centre ...moves when you scroll!
its all going rapidly downhill!

On a laptop.

The font size has gone tiny, abot 8 or 9. If I increase the viewing size, it screws up pages in other tabs.

I too, cannot find any button that will allow the me to see what I have read, or not read.

The forum section occupies only 40% of the screen page width. Adverts and blank make up the other 60%.

We've refined (and hopefully fixed!) the highlighting so the new posts (and new replies) should always show up now (see the Recent Topics list and the Forum Index). The hot/sticky/announcement highlighting has been toned down as it was confusing / distracting.

The "last page/reply" buttons still have a bug that is evading capture at the moment...

Dave Mac - not sure how you've got fonts quite so small but we'll have another fix for the narrower screens within 24 hours.

That is something i was going to mention too. There does seem to be so much wasted space.

The image below is how i am replying to this. At least 50% of screen space is just white and vacant. Having the reply box so narrow makes it hard work for me.

Adders, i understand the need for a site that adapts to all devices but surely that was what your mobile version was for? That worked great on my iPhone and the full site worked fine on my iPad.
Can i ask what drove the need for change?

Some of the new style looks fine, the fonts and graphics look smarter and sharper but the general layout lets it down.

I don't wish to sound negative and i do hope my comments help in some way.
