Sorry but you only have another 3 weeks left of my stupid questions and then hopefully I might actually be able to answer some lol

The kids have been asking me if after they have been skiing, when they get back to the apartment (the Alpenhof, Niederau) will they be able to have snowball fights and go on the sledge.

What I wanted to know is there like a spare field where they can go to do this, like play safely with snowballs and a little sledging?

You say that, our group of 'youth' 10-16 yr olds in Mayrhofen couldnt help themselves and had a snow ball fight and tried to build a snowman in front garden of our Chalet. The owner complained to the rep saying it wasnt a play park and that it made the front garden look untidy!! Grumpy Old Git!!! :x

What were the 16 year olds doing throwing snowballs on a school ski trip.. they should be having sex and drinking like normal kids.

Didn't go up to the Auhof but I am sure Jan will be able to tell you where up there the kids can go sledging. Alternatively many kids sledge on the nursery slopes whilst their parents enjoy an apres ski drink in one of the bars at the bottom. You can see the slopes from the bars too!! This is a good option as there are not too many obstacles that they can crash into. When I skied up to 5 pm ish there were more sledgers than skiers at the bottom!
