nice one johnny, on my way there this sat, soooooooo cant wait! forecasts say its gonna be warm next few days, hope the offpiste areas will still be good.

Sprinkle of snow forecast on Friday. I am due to also be there at the weekend but I favour Hopfgarten or Auffach I think as bored of Niederau!

im gonna do more of auffach this trip, didnt really get to go there last year.

Yeah, at least in Auffach when the sun comes out you get to see it!!

I find that the first 2 or 3 days of the week are the best to go to Auffach, normally get the earliest bus up to there as I can as the ski school seem to clog up almost every run in Niederau until they find their snow feet. Think i will be doing the same again this year and the spicy pizza breads they do in the round food place across the road from the Schatzbergbahn are lovely, normally have one and then stuggle through a second to regain some energy to head all the way back up to the top again!!!

I can recall seeing the sun once at the top of the little hill in N, where theres a couple of cafes on the plateau up there. You could see the Kitxbuhl Horn from there, so I was told. But go down the back into the village again and the sun certainly disappears fast!
Auffach on the other hand was lovely and sunny nearly all day.
