Useful ways to use your Lid when not skiing?

Well, at least it's got us all laughing about helmets instead of fighting about them :D

I'm not too sure though if AnyMol2's liner is for using the helmet as a hanging basket or for Jastem's cereal?

Or to throw up in.

Or,
You could use an old helmet as a hamster nest - I wonder if the contents are safe for hamsters? There was a lovely photo in the Telegraph at the weekend of a ? harvest mouse living in an old Wimbledon tennis ball.

Maybe Snowbandit could use one for her tortoises?

I've found out what helmets are useful for. Playing pass the head gear whilst half cut in an apres ski bar.

Well the Germans on the next table found it hilarious anyway.

Sorry Tony, I don't get it :?:

Why were you passing headgear around in a bar?

I didn't think you would.

We went into a lively apres bar and decided it would be a good idea to all wear our own headgear and then pass it round to the person to our left every 30 seconds, which caused some great amusement for all the Germans next door.
There were some funny moments, but on a serious note, here is an avid Lidder (Stewart Dowling) having a lightblub moment realising how much cooler he would look in a bobble:
