I intend to buy a pair of skis this weekend at the ski show.
Could anyone recommend a pair.
I mainly ski on piste.
Int-Adv but certainly no expert.
Last season I hired a pair of A Metrons (9) quite short if I remember 162 I am 6ft but found these quite good.
Many thanks should anyone reply.

I enjoyed the Metron 9's I demoed last year. I use Volkl Supersport S4's most of the time. But, I think most all skis will perform very well. If you liked the Metrons, I don't think you can go wrong with them!

I got a set of Metron B5i's last year at the Olympia Ski Show and had a ball on-piste last season over several trips (I'm 5'10" and just over 15 stone).

I just had a look on the sport conrad website that another thread mentioned and they have Metron B9s at €299 with bindings. The length is 164cm

The B5 I is €599

The hardware thread has very positive things to say about this company but I haven't used them.

I bought some skis from them last year, a pair of K2 touring skis for my girlfriend and I was impressed with the service. I'd not hesitate to buy from them again. The prices beat most of the discounts I can get which is amazing.

Personally, unless they were a slalom ski, I wouldn't consider anything under 170.
