Ha they're awesome. Love seeing them skiing down after a few gluwhein. You'd never guess their age
I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

Hi Emma, nice to see you :D

I'd like to be still ski-ing when I'm 65. A couple of years ago I was quite shocked when someone in my group ski lesson said he wasn't going to ski any more once he reached 50 (in 2 years time), because he thought he'd be too old

Its free in Arinsal at 70 and there are quite a few discounts for the over 65s throughout Europe for instance 10% and free for the over 75s in the Portes du Soleil...and Emma you should really stop drinking so much ....you'd be able to see the skiers better!

Can we establish that it is you that have had the gluhwein, Em? And also that it is very difficult to establish skier's ages when they are passing you?

Nah not me on the gluwhein, although a few the evening before apparently improves my skiing considerably  I stick to the coffee and hot choc during the day. Got the attention span of a gnat at the best of times so supping and skiing would definitely end in tears

I certainly hope that is true, Dave!
This season I skied with one of the two retired Mountain rescue guys from my realy days, he had 54 years service....and still skiing at 80.
Then I met with a Munich visitor, still skiing, paragliding, and playing football at 85. He gave me a lift down to Worgl, and drove like Schumacher.
