Dont know if anyone is aware, but TUI now own First Choice as well as Thompons. As a result, from may 09 they will be rebranding all planes in the new Thomson Airways livery, and only trimming the fleet by getting rid of the oldest Airbus' currently on the First Choice fleet.
Anyone who took a First Choice or Thomsons holiday this summer may have found they were flying on either of the respective airlines from the "other" company, as they have already pooled their fleet to cover the routes they are going to maintain as the new airline.
Therefore, anyone flying this winter on either FCA or ThomsonFly may well find themselves travelling on the other airline. Good news for anyone who ends up on a Thomson flight, not so good for those who get the older FCA planes with their vile turquoise leather seats with about 6 inches between the seats!!!!
