I read the title as "Knock on the Head Skiing Time"....must be true, it's about Eurovision :mrgreen:

I knew there had been a few reasons to move to the States. I had totaly forgotten about the Eurovision Song Contest. Now I'm curious to be reminded of how bad it is again. Does the expanded EC mean you are treated to even more musical fun ?

Heres the thing with Eurovision: without the music, its actually brilliantly funny television. Sadly, the people playing the music thoroughly spoil what is a very funny evening.

The political voting has actually got more predictable these days, especially with new members of the EC coming in. Bulgaria and Romania will no doubt get plenty of votes.

Meanwhile, dont expect votes for Britain from anyone, thanks to driving on then right, use of the Pound, and our involvement in Iraq (at least they got one good reason not to vote for us). And also watch out for the "vote for your neighbours and friends" countries.

You should play at home, doing a sweep on who will vote for each country. Funny how the Baltic states and former Yugoslavs all vote for each other.

Do you reckon Cyrpus will give 10 or 12 to Greece or Turkey this year?????

Trencher, you are well out of it. I have never watched the Eurovision song contest. I think I would rather look out of the window at the Lomond hills, whilst at the same time, eating a pair of salopettes.
