The stats on serious injury prevention may still be inconclusive, but I think it will be the growing awareness of the long term cumlative effects of mild conconcussions that will drive the move to helmets in the future.
because I'm so inclined .....

Link to a news site interview published today, with Liam Neeson, who recalls the night his wife Natasha Richardson died.

Almost two years after actress Natasha Richardson died after bumping her head during a ski lesson at Quebec's Mont Tremblant resort, her husband Liam Neeson is speaking about the tragedy.

Propoganda.
Media hype.
Sensationalism.

Listen, dont get me wrong, I am not saying I have no feelings for those injured or killed whilst skiing, far far from it. But people have been skiing for years, so why suddenly the requirement for helmets?

I dont buy this "I ski much faster now" stuff, everyone gets better and faster over time.

People should have a choice of their own, and I respect anyones choice, but for the last time, I am sick of people telling me I SHOULD wear a helmet or that wearing a bobble is some kind of mental illness.

Christ, they'll be opening a concentration camp for bobbles next.

I see what you mean, but I fear you are about 70 years out of touch with that suggestion.

I dont think Stewart would be very pleased about the jacket comment somehow.

Nasty lidders.

Don`t know why Stuart would be offended by the jacket, grey & black same as mine.

I just don't get the fetish for bobbles.
Bobbles went from woolley hats 30 years ago.

I know fasion comes and goes but I'd put them with flares, platform soles and romper suits. Every now and again some fasionista tries to bring them back but deep down they still make you cringe!
