I know exactly where I keep all my ski stuff (because I put it away in the same place each year after I've washed it etc.) and my passport and paperwork and toothbrush etc. Plus I have a list of everything I need so I won't forget anything.
The next thing I have to do to prepare for this holiday is to buy my Eurostar ticket out there, but they're not on sale yet - shouldn't be long though :D
And if anyone else wants to come with us please let me know.

Are you not coming to Lech with me in February then?
Good spot, teach me to rush a visit to the site from work.
171 days, 17 hours and a single minute left for you then

I will book a cheap hotel in Bourg for Saturday night and get the bus to Les Brevieres early on Sunday morning so that I can ski all Sunday.
I've already bought my EasyJet flight back to Gatwick from Geneva for the following Sunday evening (20th) departing at 9-30 p.m. and costing just under £50.
So, the total cost of my train out and flight back is just under £150, which isn't too bad, but I will have to add in about £50 for the hotel and I've still got to buy my bus ticket from Bourg to Les Brevieres on the 13th, and find a way of getting from Les Brevieres to Geneva on the evening of the 20th. I am still waiting for the bus time-tables and prices to become available.
I've never managed to ski 8 days before, and I should think it will be well worth the extra trouble/expense.
If anyone is interested, I had a quick look just now on the Eurostar website, and half-term direct Eurostar tickets are still available (16th - 23rd February) for £339. Return tickets for 12th - 19th January are only £209.

Ally are you sneaking in some practice before we arrive, you do realise you lose points for that & could cause the welcome drinks to be paid for by you, is skiing before us really worth it
