my son wears glasses so have been looking at toying with the idea of prescription goggles and come accross this on ebay

I think they look *ridiculous but if they do the job....

I'd worry about this type of 'goggle' fogging up. I know some styles have a vent arrangement but I have my doubts about their capabilities.
The pro cross country skiers & biathletes seem to use them a lot so there must be some merit in them. Maybe a case, as always, of making sure you get the right style / make.
