As a veteran user, your opinion is highly valued although we'll never please everyone all of the time.
I'm confused by your comment TBH - it sounds as if you are viewing the mobile site (j2ski.mobi) on a desktop? :?: Don't do that!
The whole raison d'être of the new look is that it adapts to the device; it does NOT look the same on a desktop as it does on a mobile.
To be clear (hopefully), you should now be able use the main forum (j2ski.com) on 99% of devices :-
- On a desktop or tablet there will be more detail, more functions and a 2-column layout like before.
- On a mobile / smartphone, there will be a 1-column layout with reduced (but still functional) detail.
Well we expected it to be a bit "marmite" and it's fair to say we've had a range of opinions so far.
It'd be useful to know what size screen you're using (inches as well as pixel resolution) and which aspects you don't like.
PM me if you want to take the detail offline but it'd be useful to know.
We will be tuning a few things as we go.
Adders, its not just marmite. its almost unusable.

I hate to say this, i don't like being negative but it looks awful.
I appreciate you may have put hard work into this Admin but it looks a real mess to me.
The text is too big which forces the text boxes it is in to become less than uniform.
I am now using the mobile version on my desktop as it looks better than the desktop version.
Please reconsider this update as i cant see myself using the forum in this state.
