Sorry Andy, but when I click on skiset, it automatically comes up with prices for the Wildschoenau!

I have been looking on Tripadvisor, and the Kellerwirt seems to be not so good on the reviews regarding the food. Does anyone know if it is not as good as it used to be, also, which ski hire shop is closest to the hotel?

The food at the Kellerwirt is very good, but I don't know if the package deal means different food. All the J2skiers that reported on here gave it thumbs up. Ski Hire, Stephan Margreiters shop is 100m down the hill. Sandbichlers is directly opposite. If you google them, you can reserve skis through their agents. Slightly more costly than Skiset.

Thanks Dave. We are going with Inghams, also there does not seem to be a hot breakfast, I presume meats, etc.
We have been spoilt in the past and have always had a hot option.

I stayed at the kellerwirt last feb. i enjoyed the whole experience so much that im not going with the boys this season but taking my girlfriend who doesnt ski! so it must be good!
We found the food to be very good considering we were on a package deal, breakfast was continental but a wide variety to choose from and was plentiful. most days i didnt need lunch up the mountain.
There were people staying there that meet up every year on the same week that have been going every year for 20 years! that must say something about the place.
The ski bus was never a problem for us...quite the opposite if i think about it.
Enjoy your holiday :)

Moogy, thank you. Just a bit nervous, this holiday is Christmas and ski holiday, post skiing accident, all rolled into one. Balance being paid this week, holiday looming and I really want it to be stress free and lovely for the kids, so I think I am going over everything with a fine toothcomb.
Couple of questions,
Would lunch be available on the mountains on xmas day/ boxing day?
Two of our passports run out end of Jan, I have been told that they will not have to be renewed for Xmas as they will still be valid?
And finally, ( christ, I sound like a two ronnies sketch!)Has anyone used, "park at my house" for Gatwick, they sound easy and cheap,Is there a catch?
